You will be centrally located on the island with a sand beach
directly in front of the condo to play on. After a fun filled day in
Galveston, ride the glass elevator to
your condo and enjoy views of the ocean in your condo from the balcony where you
will feel the ocean breeze. Relax in one of the two pools on the property - one
of which is heated. Either cook in your fully equipped kitchen, barbecue in the
outdoor area on the property or walk to your favorite restaurant.
This condo is fully furnished and can sleep up to six people
comfortably. If the calendar is filled for the days you want, we have other

to eat out, there are wonderful restaurants just steps from your front door. No
matter what your taste, you will find the convenience of many choices within
walking distance unbeatable.
Fishing Out the Front Door: Bring your rod and reel and enjoy
great saltwater fishing right outside your front door. No need to take a charter
when you have all the fish biting at the pier across the street.
This condo is your perfect bungalow only steps from the Gulf
waters, beach store shopping, restaurants, bars and still close to everything
like; the Strand historical district, the
Pleasure Pier, and
Moody Gardens.
The condo is decorated in a tropical theme with vibrant colors and
never lets you forget how close you are to the beach. The back yard is filled
with tropical plants and palms and a large 8 foot picnic table if you would like
to eat outside during your stay. Use the grill on the small back deck for a cook-out
or just enjoy the sea breezes from the front porch. Whatever you decide to do
Blue Crab bungalow will make for an amazing stay on
Galveston Island!
This condo is close to 2 wonderful restaurants in Galveston.
Mosquito Cafe (14th) and Shy Katz (16th). You should check them out if you get a
chance. It is also within just over 1 block to Benno's on the Seawall for
wonderful seafood!
I recommend you bring your bikes to the Island because anything
you would want to do is all within cycling distance from the Condo to Stores
There are so many fun things to do on Galveston that are all
within steps to just a few miles away. Many great beaches, entertainment,
shopping and miles of Gulf Coast beaches. Galveston’s festivals, special events
and attractions are enjoyable for all! Check the website to see what's happening
during your stay....there is at least one festival per month on the Island. We
have cruises to bar hopping... Galveston has many enjoyable activities for
single and family lives. Explore the the downtown Strand area and ride horse
drawn carriages. Also don't forget to visit the Elissa (a historic sail boat) or
the oil rig museum, both near the Strand on Pier 21. See a movie or enjoy many
of Galveston's shops & art studios. You can rent bicycles (3 blocks from the
house on 17th), scooters, golf carts & Segways to enjoy the Seawall during all
parts of the day or just walk the beach, which is only a few steps across the
way. The stretch of Seawall located just out from the house also offers Jet ski
rentals in the Summer as well as chair and umbrella rental. We also have 8 bag
chairs at the Blue Crab bungalow you can bring to the beach or use for whatever
you would like during your stay.
Many people also come to fish on one of Galveston's many piers (2
of which are just a couple blocks from the house) or charter a boat for more
exciting catches. There are plenty of hidden coves and waterways to explore for
your next fishing trip. Take the kids to Schlitterbahn, Galveston Island's
amazing water park, or the NEW Galveston Island Historic
Pleasure Pier which hosts many rides,
games, and activities for all to enjoy as well as food at
Bubba Gump's restaurant. Live Bands
play on the end of the pier during the summer night weekends. Also entertainment
is always just a few blocks away at the only Bar and restaurant over the sand on
the seawall called The Beach Hut. Galveston has much to offer and explore and
our home is right in the middle of all you could dream to do... it just needs
you :)
